What began with one nanny and one family has grown into a trusted household name—Kindred KY—serving Lexington, Louisville, Southern Indiana, and surrounding communities with unmatched care and intention.
After earning her Master of Public Health from the University of Kentucky, Lacey continued her work with children as a professional nanny. It was during those years inside family homes that she saw firsthand the gap between what families needed and what traditional childcare systems offered. Her heart for community, her commitment to high standards, and her belief that nannies deserve exceptional support inspired her to create a full-service agency that would elevate both sides of the working relationship.
Today, Kindred KY has evolved into a comprehensive nanny and household staffing agency known for its warmth, professionalism, and deeply personalized process. From long-term placements to household management to backup and as-needed care memberships, Lacey and her devoted team remain hands-on throughout each step of the journey—ensuring every match feels like an extension of the family.
When she’s not working behind the scenes or cheering on the families and nannies she serves, you’ll find Lacey on her family’s dream farm with her husband, Christopher, and their three spirited children. Their home is filled with dogs, a few savvy cats, and a flock of charming, slightly mischievous chickens. She loves gardening, dreaming up new home and farm projects, hosting friends, and enjoying great food and a good glass of wine.

Becca has been working with Kindred since November 2019, and is the head of our recruiting department. She brings in all of the incredible nannies that we call our own here at Kindred! Her knack for interviewing candidates and her fantastic judgement of character make her the exact person that we need to bring in our top notch talent. Becca is always going above and beyond, and never fails to be diligent in researching each incoming candidate that applies while both getting to know who they are as individuals and learning about their childcare experience. She is a huge part of why we are able to continue growing so rapidly, and we are so grateful to have her. KJ’s journey with Kindred came full circle when she joined the team as a Placement Coordinator. Originally a beloved nanny with the agency, she stepped away to pursue a new career path and start her own family. Now, Kindred is thrilled to welcome her back in this exciting new role.
With a lifelong heart for children, KJ began babysitting at a young age and went on to work as a part-time nanny for two years. She also cherishes her role as a mother to her little girl, and as an aunt to five nieces and nephews, pouring her love and care into each of them. Having experienced firsthand the special bond between families and nannies, she is passionate about fostering those connections for others. KJ brings warmth, empathy, and dedication to every placement, ensuring families and caregivers feel supported every step of the way.
